Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Argent, Stratos, Others

Argent Financial Group Hamer is joining from Asset Management Group Ltd where he had been a managing director since 2016. Prior to joining AMG in 2007, Robert was a founding partner and managing director of Sunset Partners Capital Management. There, he was chief investment officer. Hamer has more than 40 years of wealth management experience. Stratos operates in 26 states across the US.
Argent Financial Group, the US firm operating in the Southern states of the country, has promoted Jyotsaana Parajuli to Argent’s controller. Parajuli , who previously served as assistant controller, will continue to report to Daniel Taylor, Argent’s chief accounting officer.
In her new position, Parajuli will oversee various areas of daily accounting operations. Her duties also include the administration of corporate budgets and forecasts as well as tax planning for Argent Financial Group and all subsidiaries.
A certified public accountant, Parajuli earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and a master’s degree with concentration in accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
Argent Financial Group is responsible for more than $40 billion in client assets and is headquartered in Ruston, Louisiana. It was formed in 1990 and traces its roots back to 1930.
Stratos Wealth Advisors
Stratos Wealth Advisors has hired wealth management veteran Robert A Hamer, who has more than $250 million in assets under management. Stratos, an RIA, manages over $3 billion in advisory assets as of March 31, 2023. Including other parts of the Stratos group, the organization oversees $22.8 billion in assets under management/advice.
Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisor Charles Mann to Raymond James Financial Services, its independent advisor channel.
Mann owns Habit Financial in Canadian, Texas, where he is joined by branch operations coordinator Ashley Billings. Previously, he was affiliated with Edward Jones managing approximately $180 million in client assets.
A Texas native, Mann has been a financial advisor on Main Street in Canadian for the last 13 years. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in finance.
